The Blood Red Sky

Today in the Native Office

There is a bit of a gale blowing outside, and it's whipping up the waves like a cold day at Whitby Quay on a wet winter Sunday. Not very Hellenic at all. See image here

Still, it's perfect weather to sit indoors and listen to the new Mortal Critters Audiobook release on Apple Books and Spotify.

From : Today in the 5th World: A Mortal Critters Blog

Hey Mortal Critters Fans, Thanks for the support. Welcome to the first blog post. We have been dropping news updates on the news page, but from now on, this will become a regular thing. And so…

Here is an update on what's happening in our world today.

The audiobook was recorded and completed in February, and it was ingested into the distribution system for technical approval. This was received mid-March, and the audiobook was passed to Distribution. Distribution is by a couple of dozen companies, and each seems to take its own sweet time. Yesterday, Apple published the audiobook, and today Spotify did too. That gives us a good dozen so far, including Barnes and Noble. We are still waiting for news from Audible, which takes the longest time because of the immense volume of their schedules. Keep you updated and thanks for the feedback, kevin

Native is pleased to present a limited edition of New Human — a striking piece of Abstract Pop Art by Kevin Donoghue, released under his KADO label.

Originally conceived and created on an iPad to be used as part of a visual media art show. The idea was further developed into a full-size mixed-media art piece. New Human is now available for the first time as an exclusive, limited edition, gallery-quality print, capturing the texture, energy, and layered intensity of the original in a refined, collectable format.

You have to love it when Spotify tells you there are new books you may enjoy... and you see Mortal Critters listed alongside the hero, Ian Rankin.

And just as we find the Blood Moon in the Books here at my place in Crete, Greece, we have the Sinister Orange Skyline. It is caused by all the sand being whipped up by the storm. Looks like half of the War-torn Middle East is falling down on Crete. Take a look at this.
